Eye On The Target

I uploaded some photos from my phone to my computer and had forgotten that I had taken pictures of these awesome throw pillows that would keep catching my eye as I passed their aisle in Target.

They are from the DwellStudio for Target line.  I, of course, love the gray and yellow combo ;) I'm so predictable when it comes to gray.

Living in the Grey Area

When I saw the subject line of Z Gallerie's email this afternoon, I couldn't wait to open it.  The subject is "Living in the Grey Area" and I was not dissapointed.  The Grey-lover in me ate up all the lovely grey, black and white items they had grouped together from Z Gallerie's available products.  But really, you don't have to be a grey-junkie like me to appreciate this grey rose pillow
or these charcoal curtain panels
or this area rug
See anything you like on Z Gallerie's grey area page?

Seeing Black and White (and Grey) in Copenhagen

This rug is right up my alley namely because it's in a greyscale and also reminiscent of an animal hide (without acutally using animal hide)  I saw this Spine rug featured in Hospitality Design Magazine. It was conceptualized by fashion designer Camilla Staerk fo Normann Copenhagen which I just recently familiarized myself with.

Normann Copenhagen has an amazing design store in, of course, Copenhagen that I would love to visit.  The building they are in was an old water distillery turned theater turned sound studio turned store.  I'm sure it's worth a visit!  Go here to look through their site and see their other fun products!

Predictably Me

This is so predictably me.  I got a great deal on a gray (surprise!) striped shirt recently, which is now one of my favorite things to wear.  As I was sitting at my desk today, I glanced at my business card and with the sleeve of my arm close by, I noticed a resemblance. Do you?
Thank you Krista, my graphic designer, for my business cards.  This event just reaffirms that she completely captured my style in the design for my card.

Hurray for Gray!

I was emailed an article today from Sherwin Williams about my favorite color, Gray. I would like gray regardless of any current trends, however they claim that Gray is still going strong in current trends in interior design today. Many retailers are offering furniture washed in gray and gray fabrics as the base neutral color. To put it plainly, "Gray is the new Beige." It's articles like this that make me rejoice since it means it is that much easier to access my favorite color in all media and venues. Go Gray!
