To continue with the discussion of color. Interior Design Magazine published and article stating that Pantone has declared "Mimosa" to be color of the year. They state that, "Pantone chose the warm yellow shade to represent optimism and positivity in an uncertain economy." It is a little bright for my taste but apparently Pantone and Gap have teamed together and you may see it in some of your clothing this year.

We saw it in our clothing all right, but the very bright shade like this one went over like a lead balloon. This is the color that dominates our clearance section right now. However, the paler version that was offered in basic tees flew off the shelves. I don't think it's just you in the "it's a bit bright" camp.
