As part of a class assignment for a blogging class that I am taking (thank you Holly at Decor8!) I have put together an inspirational board that consists of images and words that define my blog, and me by consequence.
This assignment was not difficult for me since I used to make art pieces like this all the time and give them as gifts based on things the recipient liked.
You can see the obvious elements of what I like come through - my passion for design, the color grey, France, asian design, luxury, modern, green exterior spaces and a chandelier for every house, to name a few.
I would recommend this exercise to anyone needing a little inspiration and creativity in their life. Enjoy!

Thank you Ines and Pilgrim!
I only got the chance to check out your blog (there's so many of us:). I like your inspiration board and using the text is a great idea that adds helps explain what you're about.
Beautiful
This is lovely~ I love textiles too. ~Theresa
Great board Rebecca ... that goldfish is fantastic. I have seen a kids doona cover with a similar print - looking down on a pond of goldfish and it was soooo cute. And like Pilgrim, I also love that couch, it's a favourite colour of mine,

Hi Rebecca, it seems like you are really clear on what you like from reading your post and looking at your board. I too am taken with the koi or goldfish illustration and the peacock photograph as they add an interesting and different element. You have exquisite taste and I have been thinking about chandeliers lately -I like how you suggest one for every house! Brilliant!
Such exotic imagery and symbolism... I love your lucky koi fish;)
Love your inspiration board! I like the grey and yellow colors...see you at byw!
