While I was making a purchase in Z Gallerie the other day, I couldn't help but notice these fabulous grey flowers. Very artsy, I think.
I have always liked most of the faux flowers, branches and grasses that Z Gallerie carries.
It made me think about those people I have heard say "never faux" and I can't say I'm one of them. I love real and preserved plants but they can be hard to maintain, or find the variety you want, and are much more of an investment. With faux florals, I don't feel bad if I have to switch them out with the seasons or is they look "tired". They definitely help make a statement and greenery is a vital component to accessorizing.
What's your opinion? Faux? or No!

Attention Downtown Sacramento
I was alerted yesterday that the downtown Sacramento store of Z Gallerie is closing. Boohoo! Fortunately, we have another store close by in Roseville, but it is always sad to see a favorite leave. As a consequence, everything in the the store is 30% off. So local readers, please go down and take advantage of this great sale! Here is a sampling of some great things from Z Gallerie's website:
Z Gallerie is definitely one of my favorites so I plan to take a look myself to see what I absolutely can't live without.

Last Minute
Much to my relief, I am all finished with my Christmas shopping. I know that some of you are deciding to brave the crowds today and tomorrow to find that perfect gift. Well, in case you didn't get an email this morning from Z Gallery announcing their sale of up to 70% off great gift items, I'm telling you this place seems like a one stop shop! I found all kinds of deals that I wouldn't mind Santa leaving under my tree. Take a look:
I thought this floor screen with votives was so unique:
So fly over to your closest Z Gallerie or shop online to snag these great deals! No need to thank me for finding the solution to your shopping stress :) Merry Christmas!

Ready for Harvest
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. It's a time of harvest, reflection on what I've done through the year to get me to this point and all the things I have to finish before the new year. Of course, there is the literal harvest of squash and everything else yummy that is ready for adding to savory dishes. I love the crisp air, beautiful colors on the changing trees, pumpkin everything from lattes to jack-o-lanterns. October begins the end-of-year holiday festivities for me. I could buy a whole house full of fall and Halloween decorations each year if budget allowed. Instead, I'll just enjoy suggesting fun decor items for you to go out and harvest. Z Gallerie and Pier 1 Imports are all geared up for the seasons. Here are a few items I found on their sites:
First from Z Gallerie, a spooky selection:
Then Pier 1 has fun collection of harvest items:

Living in the Grey Area
When I saw the subject line of Z Gallerie's email this afternoon, I couldn't wait to open it. The subject is "Living in the Grey Area" and I was not dissapointed. The Grey-lover in me ate up all the lovely grey, black and white items they had grouped together from Z Gallerie's available products. But really, you don't have to be a grey-junkie like me to appreciate this grey rose pillow
