Inspiring Blooms

While I was making a purchase in Z Gallerie the other day, I couldn't help but notice these fabulous grey flowers.  Very artsy, I think.
I have always liked most of the faux flowers, branches and grasses that Z Gallerie carries.

It made me think about those people I have heard say "never faux" and I can't say I'm one of them.  I love real and preserved plants but they can be hard to maintain, or find the variety you want, and are much more of an investment.  With faux florals, I don't feel bad if I have to switch them out with the seasons or is they look "tired".  They definitely help make a statement and greenery is a vital component to accessorizing.

What's your opinion?  Faux? or No!

I think newer faux florals are much better than their older counterparts! Many of them look very modern. If you buy high quality pieces I think it can work!

Woah - that first one is SO cool looking - I wonder what they're made of - looks like porcelain.

My problem with faux florals are cleaning them!

I'm totally a fan of faux. I love fresh flowers too, but who can afford to keep their home in new flowers each week? The faux can look every bit as lovely these days, so I can't think of a single reason not to go for them!

Taking into consideration that I have absolutely no success with live plants, I'll have to go with Faux. And if they're from ZGallerie (one of my faves) they have to be gorgeous! Found you via the blog train at BYW 2.0!

I agree Shayla- they have improved over time!

Yes, Starlet, dusting them is not fun. I think there are cleaning brushes dedicated to that sort of thing
